.So without wasting your time let me tell you that why I have made this website.
I want to guide those people who are newbie in this industry And taking their first step here.So here we go......
HOW TO START MODELLING?
One of the most common questions asked by those who want to become a model is 'how do I get into modelling?'.
Well, the simplest way is to start marketing yourself to modelling agencies.
And to do that, you need to build up a portfolio. It is worth getting some shots done by a reputable and professional photographer as they can present you in the best possible light.
Remember that you want some good quality pictures but some also that really stand out and lift you above the crowd.
You then need to find a list of reputable modelling agents and then start your marketing campaign, asking for a meeting, sending an element of your portfolio and so on.
HOW TO MAKE GOOD FACE WHILE TAKING PICTURES?
Many people do not think their face really looks like them in their photographs - and this includes models too!
However there are things that you can do to try to improve the situation.
If you want to make your face look better defined, then you should try to stick your head out slightly more than is natural and also turn your head very slightly - rotate the head just enough so that it is non straight.
This means the angles of the face look slightly different and the face catches the light at a different way to normal, the net result being that your face can look better in your model pictures.
WHAT TO AVOID AND WHAT TO DO
As well as knowing what to do when it comes to modelling, there are some other things that you should ensure that you do not do.
One important thing not to do is to ever part with cash with an agency up front. That's because they may make a large percentage of their money from the models themselves (their clients) rather than through getting you work.
The best modelling agencies won't charge you to be on their books because they are going to 'sell' you to their clients in order to get both them and you money.
You should also check out any agency before you go to visit. Never go to a private address for instance and certainly don't go unaccompanied.
HOW TO POSE
When you are getting your portfolio done, you will need to adopt the classic model stance for some pictures so as you look the part.
This will involve you standing and looking at the camera, but not standing directly opposite the photographer.
Rather you should turn at around 3/4 so that 3/4 of your body is towards the camera whilst the other 1/4 is pointing away from the camera.
You should also ensure that you have one shoulder closer to the photographer and hence the camera; of course this happens automatically if you turn 3/4 to the camera unless something goes horribly wrong !
